We are currently growing our team and looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, alert, great physical fitness, and able to serve client's needs. This position is ideal for a mature security professional who is confident, customer-focused, and experienced in hospitality or nightlife environments. The successful candidate will maintain a visible security presence, assist restaurant staff, and ensure guests enjoy a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Our security guards must maintain professionalism, poise, and control in their interactions with guests, customers, and restaurant staff visitors, while maintaining the highest level of customer-centric service. The ideal candidate will have a service-oriented mindset with the ability to approach people and making everyone feel valued.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional security presence throughout the restaurant.
- Monitor guest behaviour to help prevent disturbances and overconsumption of alcohol.
- De-escalate conflicts using strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Remove individuals involved in disruptive or unsafe behaviour when required.
- Assist reception/front entrance staff with guest flow and access control.
- Monitor entrances and exits while maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Conduct interior patrols of the establishment to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies.
- Complete detailed incident reports and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant management and Executek supervisors.
- Report any safety concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Apply if you:
- Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Possess a valid Smart Serve Certification
- Must have minimum 1-year experience in the field of security (hospitality, bar, restaurant)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Have previous experience with report writing
- Must be flexible and reliable in schedule (Afternoons, Evenings, Overnight, Weekends, Holidays)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Must possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with management and mobile supervisors.
- Have de-escalation techniques to prevent disturbances and overconsumption of alcohol.
- Use of Force training is an asset
