Job Overview
We are a growing bakery and coffee shop in Orleans dedicated to providing fresh, high-quality french baked goods and excellent customer service. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team and help us create exceptional products for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, muffins, and other bakery products.
- Follow recipes and production schedules consistently.
- Measure, mix, shape, proof, and bake products according to established standards.
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Receive and store ingredients properly.
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies when required.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support other team members as needed.
- Able to work Early morning, weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of baking experience in a bakery, restaurant, café, or similar food-service environment.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent product quality.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
