We’re looking for a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team as an Independent Contractor. Extra points if you have additional qualifications, such as Athletic Therapy credentials.
To start, you’ll be sharing a treatment room with our current massage therapist. A second room is in the works, but it’s still a work in progress. We hope to have it ready later this year. If you’re consistently filling your schedule, it will definitely help motivate us to finish the next room faster.
We offer competitive pay. Don’t you love it when job posts say “competitive pay” but never actually tell you what it is? And then you find out it’s barely average? Here’s the reality: the split is 70/30 in your favour, which to our knowledge is industry-leading. Please correct us if we’re wrong. This works out to approximately $79 take-home per hour for a standard treatment. (Note: 90-minute treatments will work out to slightly less per hour.)We know a job should be something you enjoy, but life is expensive and your time is valuable. We want you to know exactly what you’re getting into.
Beautiful Room This isn’t your standard white walls and industrial drop-ceiling setup. The room features elegant wainscoting, 10-foot accented ceilings, tasteful art, and a window with a view of the forest (partially obstructed by power lines — we can’t do much about that).
Who we’re looking for: We want someone with above-average skill, passion, and work ethic. You should be willing to clean up after your shifts, manage laundry inventory, and handle cleaning and folding laundry without complaint. Ideally, you live relatively close to the location or don’t mind commuting. Flexibility is a big plus. We're also interested in hiring other professions such as Osteo, Chiro, etc.
Additional details: We’ll feature you on our website and online booking page, and we’ll help fill your schedule with clients who call in. That said, we strongly recommend you also put effort into marketing and building your own client base.
