Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles by emptying and sanitizing them regularly to prevent odors and pest issues
- Disinfect surfaces such as countertops, sinks, door handles, and light switches to uphold health standards
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent sanitation across the facility
- Use commercial cleaning tools and machinery effectively, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers when necessary
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial or large-scale cleaning procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in all cleaning tasks
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently during night shifts
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties and lift moderate loads as needed
