About the Building
The Rosemont Residences is located in Downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District on the northwest corner of John and Wellington Streets. The property is uniquely positioned with a mix of 274 unfurnished suites, 146 furnished suites and 9 retail units, offering long-term, short-term and extended-stay rental options.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at The Rosemont Residences, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and resident service across furnished suites and common work areas within the residence portfolio. This role plays a key part in supporting resident satisfaction, suite readiness, and the overall reputation of The Rosemont Residences brand through professional service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience through professional and responsive interactions.
- Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely, courteous, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Perform scheduled housekeeping services within furnished suites, including general cleaning, linen replacement, and maintaining overall suite presentation standards.
- Prepare furnished suites for incoming residents by completing full turnover cleaning, restocking amenities and supplies, and ensuring move-in readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas, laundry facilities, linen inventory, and housekeeping equipment.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Conduct suite inspections and report maintenance concerns, damages, missing items, or operational issues promptly.
- Support day-to-day property operations and maintain brand and presentation standards across all furnished suites and common service areas.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure efficient suite turnover and a high-quality resident experience.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (WHMIS Certification).
- Prior hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
- Reliable with a positive attitude.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
