Regional Sales Manager – Home Improvements

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team that will be based in our Mississauga Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales activities within the Ontario region, driving revenue growth, building strong and effective sales teams and developing strong customer relationships in the residential marketplace.
Experience, Education and Training Requirements
o Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in direct sales, preferably within the home improvement industry, and a minimum of 5-years management experience (including management of sales teams)
o Experience working as a commission-based salesperson with prior earnings in excess of $250,000
o Strong understanding of sales techniques and principles
o Must have canvassed, worked home shows, malls and mailers
o Experience in managing direct sales staff, including recruiting, training and mentoring (minimum 5-years)
o Demonstrated track record in self-generation of leads and business creation
o Experience in developing and implementing sales training programs
o Excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
o Overachiever and a “can-do” attitude with a history of leading high-performance teams
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional presentation and negotiation skills
o Proficient in the MS Office package, including Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel
