Position Summary
The Regional General Manager directs branch operations within the region while maintaining alignment with overall corporate vision and maximizing efficiencies. Key accountabilities include building and leading a successful team, budgeting, forecasting, delegating resources, and approving region-specific contractual agreements. This person must ensure all safety procedures are followed in accordance with relevant legislation, maintain confidentiality where appropriate, and always demonstrate professionalism.
Essential Functions-
Maintain a successful and profitable operation, delivering high quality service to clients and key stakeholders.

Maximize efficiencies in labour, costs, and equipment.

Analyze monthly profit and loss statements for alignment with budgeted expectations.

Maintain a solid understanding of the relevant market and the business units’ competitiveness.

Lead, coach and build a team that demonstrates high quality execution and creates a winning, trusting and inclusive organizational culture.

Develop and forecast expense and labour budgets.
- Maintain and develop relationships with distributors and subcontractors.
- Maintain a relationship with the Sales Department to communicate team capabilities and help build reasonable client expectations.
- Ensure equipment, vehicles, tools and PPE are maintained in good working order.
- Be the face of business unit towards clients and senior management.
- Ensure all safety guidelines rules, regulations and practices are followed so that the business unit is in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Ensure all actions of the business unit are accomplished in an ethical and prudent manner, as well as aligned with overall corporate vision.
- Deliver project schedules and project forecasting.

Develop processes and implement tools for the efficient flow of inventory, service delivery and project coordination.
- Oversee inventory management, including analyzing variances and ensuring accurate counts.

Communicate with other Regional General Managers, to optimize and standardize operations.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities-
Solid understanding of the local construction market and strong contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial reports.

Demonstrated ability to conduct regular meetings and coaching sessions.

Strong knowledge of project management, resources allocation and cost control functions.

Education, Training, Experience-
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field.

3-5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working knowledge of relevant safety legislation.
-
Clean driving record.
