Title 2019 Supervisor, Cash Operations (Revenue Control) SEASONAL
Position Overview Providing daily cash management support to all departments;
Demonstrating a full knowledge of all acceptable forms of payment (cash, cash equivalents, Accounts Receivables, etc.);
Supervising daily revenue collection associated with point-of-sale (“POS”) system transactions (cash and cash equivalents) from all operating areas of the business;
Supervising daily distribution and related inventory of cash and cash equivalents (gift cards, CityPASS, admission tickets, etc.) required to facilitate daily sales transactions for all areas of the business including daily audits and reconciliations of above inventories;
Perform collections and audits of revenue-generating machines including, but not limited to, change machines, and Nickel Presses;
Managing inventory of payment processors ensuring terminals are compliant and functional for daily usage; and
Reviewing and minimizing fraudulent online orders on a daily basis.
Responsibilities Ensure the Revenue Control office is secured at all times and manage all transactions within the office
Determine and provide change and monies for all departments
Distribute and collect cash equivalents (gift cards, wristbands, drink tickets, CityPASS, etc.) to and from Admissions Cashiers as needed
Ensure the Supervisor float is maintained in balance, requesting change as necessary to resupply with funds, reporting any variances immediately to the Associate Manager, Revenue Control (“Associate Manager”)
Daily Deposit
Verification and Pay-Out of Food and Beverage Servers’ Gratuities (“Due backs”) and Collection of “Chargebacks”
CityPASS Administration
Gift Card and Cash Equivalents Administration
Consignment Ticket Administration
Collections and Audits
Business Planning
Requirements Minimum Post-Secondary education is required and / or University education is an asset
At least two (2) years of Cashier experience is required
Retail loss prevention sales and/or Finance experience is an asset
Previous supervisory experience is an asset
Health and Safety Work in compliance with the provisions of the applicable provincial Health and Safety legislation(s), regulations, and internal policies and procedures
Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where applicable and/or when required
Reinforce and demonstrate a positive “health and safety” culture, and show interest and involvement in the Company’s health and safety performance
Commend exemplary employee health and safety practices
