Your contribution!
Reporting to the Manager - Operations Technologies, you will participate in the maintenance, upgrade, implementation and technical support of control systems and cyber security strategies for our renewable energy facilities (hydro, wind, solar and storage) located in Canada, the United States, France and Chile.
Your day-to-day!
- Manage and maintain the company's operating technology assets at our power generation facilities, including control, communications and networking systems, automation, electrical protection, monitoring, security, production equipment and energy resource data collection;
- Design, evaluate and improve architecture elements (physical and electronic perimeter security, flowcharts, network diagrams, data point lists, backup plans, etc.) for Innergex's operating facilities;
- Evaluate and manage the operational elements of electronic assets (categorization of information concerning assets, integrators, backup strategies, equipment criticality, impact of software updates, redundancy pressure, spare parts, IP addresses, password management, software versions, equipment or software life cycle);
- Participate in and support the development of specifications for new projects. Assist in supplier/subcontractor selection and oversee project execution;
- Participate in the development and documentation of standards and processes;
- Lead the implementation of operations technology software updates for operating facilities.

- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis;
- Expertise in operational technology:
- Data logger
- Historian
- Communication gateways
- PLC and HMI
- Main protocols, including some specialized to the energy sector (Modbus, Profibus, DNP3, OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 61400-25)
- SCADA
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity in an operational technology environment:
- Protection and intrusion detection;
- Types of IT and industrial threats;
- Knowledge of information technology:
- Active Directory & Domain Controller;
- Main protocols (ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, SSH, IPSec, L2TP, 802.1q, 802.1x, SSL, IKE, 3DES, AES)
- Virtualization server
- Authentication systems such as LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS, Active Directory, Digital Certificates/PKI
- Knowledge of networking:
- Management layers 1 to 7
- LAN, WAN
- Routing
- Routing, firewall and VPN technology

- The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil (Quebec)
- This position is a P3 level.
