The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Position summary
Department / Research Program: Emergency Psychiatry Department
The Clinical Research Coordinator will support a research study evaluating an early psychological intervention pathway for young adults presenting to the MUHC Psychiatric Emergency Department. Under the supervision of the study investigators, the incumbent will assist with participant recruitment and consent, data collection and follow-up, and organization of research data. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the clinical and research teams and help ensure study procedures are completed according to the research protocol.
General Duties
- Recruit and obtain consent from research participants.
- Contact participants and coordinate completion of study questionnaires.
- Conduct chart reviews and collect study data.
- Enter, organize, and maintain research data.
- Track participant follow-up and maintain study records.
- Assist with basic data preparation and research-related administrative tasks.
- Communicate with the research team regarding study activities.

Education / Experience
Education: Diplome of College Studies (DEC)
Other education considered an asset for this position: Currently pursuing or having completed undergraduate studies in psychology, behavioural sciences, health sciences, or a related field.
Work Experience: Previous research experience, including participant recruitment, data collection, and data entry.
Required Skills
- This position requires an advanced knowledge of written French.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients who are exclusively proficient in English. The position also requires complex writing or in-depth analysis of documents in English related to a research project.
- Experience with questionnaire studies.
- Experience working with softwares such as REDCap and SPSS is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritizing time sensitive issues.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Status : Temporary Part-Time: 5h
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and work expérience.
Work Shift: Other or part-time
Work Site: MGH, 1650 Cedar Ave.
- This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote).
