Account Manager
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicates with existing customers to secure continuing sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Grow sales and identify new market and product opportunities
- Drives and monitors customer satisfaction, issue resolution and follows through on commitments.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s business to align the appropriate products and advise.
- Advise the branch of pricing competitiveness to achieve margin expectations
- Retain product knowledge and advise customers of the features and benefits of our products and services
- Drives to meet and exceed sales targets at appropriate profit margins.
- Generate new business through networking and cold calling. Customer contact will be face to face along with email and phone.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner and able to keep information confidential
- Excellent communication and people skills. (oral and written)
- Proven strong computer skills
- Preferred a minimum of 2 years of industrial sales experience
- Knowledge of industrial gases and welding supplies an asset
- Strong relationship building skills
- Must carry a Class 5 drives license with a good driving record
