Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate they are patient, grounded under pressure, and skilled in de-escalation/co-regulation, with a strong commitment to creating supportive environments where youth can regain control and build self-regulation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
This role operates in a dynamic environment with potential exposure to verbal aggression, emotional intensity, and occasional externalizing behaviors. Staff must respond quickly to escalation, maintain personal safety, and support team-based interventions.
