Project Engineer – Telecommunication Towers


In order to support the growth of our Telecommunication Structures team, the future Project Engineer will be called upon to execute engineering mandates related to telecommunication towers. The incumbent will be closely involved in the technical planning and design of projects in order to ensure their success. The ideal candidate has the autonomy required to take the lead on assigned mandates while maintaining access to a team of more experienced engineers.


Working with project managers, take part in the management and technical planning of projects;
Take part in start-up meetings and act as Technical Coordinator with the client;
Establish installation requirements for structures in terms of engineering and deliverables for various clients;
Conduct structural inspections of existing towers;
Design towers, reinforcements and antenna supports;
Design the inspection of foundations;
Draft and verify structural analysis and inspection reports;
Plan and supervise the execution of engineering drawings and technical specifications, and assure the quality of deliverables;
Take part in the introduction of innovative methods and tools, thus contributing to the optimization of processes.


Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structures;
Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with telecommunication towers and related structures;
Familiarity with applicable standards (CSA S37, CSA S16, CSA A23.3, etc.);
Solid communication skills (oral and written);
Excellent priority management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Ability to work as part of a team, detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
