Tall Ships Landing is seeking Summer Marina Attendant’s to join our marina staff duties will include operating functions of the marina fuel dock, greeting all boaters, attending to customer concerns, transient dockage maintaining marina facilities, Painting, Gardening, and supporting the overall facility as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet members and visitors
- Provide direction around marina and facility as needed
- Assist with fueling, wastewater removal, docking needs
- Ensure area around facility is kept clean and maintained
- Complete regular checks on docks and vessels throughout your shifts
- Sales and payment processing of marina and facility purchases from boaters (fuel, ice etc.)
- Report on any maintenance issues and assist as needed with repairs
- Attend all health and safety training and follow all guidelines for employees
- Provide a high level of customer service to all guests and members
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
- Complete all other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a marina or boating is an asset
- Customer service experience
- Must be comfortable working on docks and around water
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
