SOS Prairie Rescue is looking for a highly organized, compassionate, and adaptable individual to join our team as a full-time Rescue Operations Coordinator.
This is not your typical office job. One day you might be coordinating veterinary appointments, the next supporting foster homes, organizing transports, managing intake requests, or helping solve operational challenges that allow us to help more cats in need.
The Rescue Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping the rescue running smoothly by supporting:
- Foster home coordination and communication
- Intake requests and rescue logistics
- Veterinary appointment scheduling and medical tracking
- Transport coordination
- Volunteer support
- Record keeping and database management
- General day-to-day rescue operations
We're looking for someone who:
- Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
- Communicates professionally and confidently
- Is comfortable navigating computer and popular programs
- Can manage multiple priorities at once
- Is comfortable working independently and solving problems
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where plans can change quickly
- Has a passion for animal welfare and helping people
Experience in rescue, veterinary medicine, nonprofit operations, administration, logistics, customer service, or volunteer coordination is considered an asset.
This is a full-time position based in Saskatoon with primarily weekday daytime hours. Some evening and weekend availability may be required for events or operational needs.
At SOS Prairie Rescue, every foster supported, appointment booked, transport coordinated, and problem solved helps give vulnerable cats a second chance.
If you're looking for work that is meaningful, challenging, and genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Casual dress
