How can you Unearth the Possibilities with Nufarm?
We’re looking to engage a proactive and customer centric Customer Care Specialist for the Canadian market. Someone responsible for bringing value-added services to customers by responding to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information in a timely, courteous and professional manner. This role will sit in our Calgary, AB office.
What will you be doing?
Receives orders via phone, email, EDI, and follows procedures for data entry, through shipment and invoice. Manages the orders and backorder process based on product availability in various Canadian geographic locations.
Analyzes and rectifies customer concerns using established procedures, as well as drawing on general business acumen.
Coordinates the order process through communications with Customers, Demand Planning, Sales, Warehousing & Logistics, Finance, and others. Also serves as a liaison to Canadian teams: Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance; and liaison to North American teams: Warehousing & Logistics, IT, Quality personnel.
Answers incoming calls from customers and internal Nufarm personnel.
Communicates with Canadian customers on delivery/order confirmation and any changes that may occur.
Works in conjunction with account managers and other business functions to meet customer needs.
Enters, confirms and researches orders.
Facilitates inventory allocations.
Manages orders and backorder process based on product availability in various Canadian geographic locations.
Coordinates the order process through communications with Customers, Demand Planning, Sales, Warehousing & Logistics, Finance, and others.
Communicates with outside warehouses and toll sites to facilitate order shipment.
Handles customer complaints and notifies the appropriate personnel.
Processes returns and credit/debit memos, rectifies mis-ships.
Provides support, guidance and product knowledge to internal and external customers.
Facilitates the invoicing process, assembling and attaching documents to orders, emailing customers.
Creates and reviews Business Objects reports.
Participates in training/seminars to build knowledge of Nufarm’s Canadian portfolio, general processes and self-development.
Assists in performing general system data maintenance as established by Management.
Assists in developing and documenting Customer Service processes and procedures.
Provides support and assistance to Customer Service team members.
Project management opportunities when available.
May travel to various Canadian locations to participate in Sales meetings.
Other duties as required.
What do you bring?
You’re an excellent communicator who is proactive and adapts easily who brings at least 1-5 years prior experience in Customer Service in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in business or a related field. You’re comfortable challenging existing processes and help to create new ones. You’re well versed in business ERP applications and you have strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Most importantly, you are customer focused, organized, and able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities effectively.
