Job Profile: Registered Nurse (Casual)
Hines Health Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN with a passion for critical care and emergency response. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced industrial environments and is passionate about delivering high‑quality on‑site emergency medical care.
As part of Emergency Response team, you'll play a key role in providing immediate, on-site emergency care and ensuring safe medical transport when necessary, making a tangible difference where it matters most.

Location & Schedule:
- Must be available for 12hours rotating day/night shifts during May 13 - Jun 7, 2026

Compensation: CA$52.00 - CA$63.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, professional emergency medical care to injured or ill workers on-site.
- Evaluate and manage patient conditions, determining care or transport needs.
- Ensure that injured workers are provided with immediate and professional on-site medical care, and to advise and/or arrange timely transport to a medical facility.
- Always act in a manner that ensures the client’s dignity, safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Maintain clinical documentation and support ongoing site safety initiatives.
- Take reasonable care to use safety and personal protective equipment as required by health and safety legislation and company policies and procedures
- Read, understand, and comply with the company's Medical Control Guidelines, Safety policies and Job Procedures, as well as applicable government laws and regulations
- Work within their applicable scope of practice determined by their licensing body and under the medical control of the Syncrude medical director, utilizing the company's Medical Control Guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Emergency/Acute Care/Occupational Health setting or equivalent experience
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Nursing program
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
- Current ACLS and ITLS
- Safety certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS, First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation as asset.
- Familiarity with Alberta Health Services EMS Medical Control Protocols.
- Oil & gas or large-scale industrial worksite experience.
- Ability to successfully obtain clearance for a pre-employment alcohol & drug screen
- Willingness to work shift work, including nights
