Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join our team. Vanity Centre is a retail bath, flooring and home renovation company that is expanding into kitchen design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating customized kitchen designs that meet clients' needs and preferences, utilizing advanced design tools and sales techniques. This role requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to deliver high-end solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. The Kitchen Designer will work closely with clients throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to project completion, providing expert guidance on renovation, construction, and product selections. The Kitchen Designer will also have the opportunity to lead other sales projects for bath or flooring as needed.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their kitchen remodeling goals, preferences, and budget constraints
- Develop detailed kitchen layouts and designs using design software
- Present design concepts through product demos, visualizations, and in-person or virtual presentations
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and installers to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct site visits as needed.
- Conduct inside sales and outside sales activities to attract new clients and maintain existing accounts
- Engage in marketing efforts to promote showroom displays, merchandising strategies, and special promotions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Job Requirements

- Experience in kitchen design, sales and project management required.
- Proficiency in design software required
- Strong negotiation skills to close sales while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Experience with renovation projects, construction processes, and remodeling industry standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in retail sales, inside sales, or high-end sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to demonstrate product features through demos and upselling techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes
- Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
