About the Role:
We're currently hiring 1–2 part-time Registered Practical Nurses to support our Ketamine-Assisted Therapy program at our Oakville location. This is a casual, contract-based position, compensated hourly per service rendered. The role is ideal for someone seeking flexible hours with the opportunity to contribute to an emerging and impactful field of care.
Responsibilities:
Registered Practical nurses play a crucial role in the safe and supportive administration of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of individuals undergoing these treatments. Their combination of clinical expertise, psychological support, and compassionate care contributes significantly to the therapeutic process. RPNs are supported by an in-house medical team, which may include RNs, Nurse Practitioners, general practitioners and/or psychiatrists, as well as our team of Psychologists.

$38/hr

What We’re Looking For:
- A compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RN) with:
- A College diploma or completed Certificate Program in Practical Nursing
- Current RPN licensure with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 2+ years of clinical experience in mental health, psychiatry, or psychotherapy nursing strongly preferred
- Current BLS and/or ACLS certification
- Current standard first aid certification and in-depth understanding of mental health first aid
- Specialized training (or a strong interest) in psychedelic-assisted therapy, mental health screening, or trauma-informed care
- Must have completed, or be willing to enroll in, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PaT) training
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Provide appropriate intervention in the case of adverse drug reactions and to address suspected drug overdoses
- Provide appropriate response to medical emergencies other than adverse drug reactions
- Deliver harm reduction drug consumption training for patients
- Provide safety and security in response to aggressive or violent incidents
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a culturally responsive, respectful, client-centered approach
- Availability for casual, part-time hours, based on client demand and program growth
Bonus Points For:
- Certification or hands-on experience with psychedelic-assisted modalities (e.g., ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin)
- Experience working within interdisciplinary teams or private practice settings
