Velocity Vehicle Transfers Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Chase Driver to join our growing team.
We specialize in the transportation of commercial vehicles throughout Canada and the United States. This position supports our commercial truck drivers by transporting them to and from pickup and delivery locations and assisting with daily transfer operations.
Responsibilities:
- Transport commercial vehicle drivers to and from pickup and delivery locations throughout Ontario, across Canada, and the United States.
- Assist truck drivers with locating trucks at yards, dealerships, customer sites, and delivery locations.
- Assist drivers with backing, spotting, and maneuvering commercial vehicles safely when required.
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the day.
- Use GPS navigation and mobile apps to complete assigned trips.
- Complete required paperwork and electronic forms accurately.
- Provide professional and courteous service at all customer locations.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be 25 years of age or older due to insurance requirements.
- Valid Canadian Passport, or Permanent Resident Card with valid U.S. B1/B2 Visa.
- Must be able to travel between Canada and the United States.
- Comfortable driving locally, long-distance throughout Canada, and into the United States.
- Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and long workdays.
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS navigation, and mobile apps.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
