Full Job Description
Pattyn Landscaping Services Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced AZ Licensed Commercial Truck Driver to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites throughout London and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, safety-conscious and experienced professional with a strong work ethic. This position requires experience operating Tri-Axle Dump Trucks and Float Trucks, transporting construction equipment and aggregates, and working safely and efficiently in an active construction and landscaping environment.
Typical Duties Include:
Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites and the shop
Operate Tri-Axle Dump Trucks and Float Trucks
Safely load, secure, transport and unload construction equipment
Transport aggregates and other job-site materials
Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform required preventative maintenance checks
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain required logbooks and documentation
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules as directed by dispatch or management
Follow all applicable MTO guidelines
Comply with truck-driving rules and regulations, including size, weight, route designations, parking and required break periods
Follow all Pattyn Landscaping Services Ltd. policies and safety procedures
Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery and job-site instructions
Report vehicle defects, accidents, damage or violations promptly
Safely maneuver construction equipment when loading and unloading
Maintain trucks, equipment and work areas in a clean and professional condition
Work cooperatively with job-site crews, supervisors and other drivers
Requirements
Valid AZ driver's licence
Clean driving record/CVOR
Minimum 2-5 years of experience floating construction equipment
Experience operating a Float Truck
Experience operating a Tri-Axle Dump Truck
Experience transporting construction equipment and aggregates
Ability to safely load, secure and unload construction equipment
Ability to work flexible hours based on job-site and scheduling requirements
Knowledge of MTO regulations and commercial vehicle requirements
Ability to perform and document pre-trip inspections
Ability to use basic route-planning equipment and GPS

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
