Job Overview
Cole Harbour Place is a 200,000 square foot sport and recreation facility located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are here to serve and accommodate members of our local and surrounding communities to achieve their personal health and wellness goals. The facility includes pools, rinks, weight room and training center, dance and fitness studios, spin studio, squash courts, various meeting rooms as well as multiple community minded tenants.
This job position reports directly to the Security Director, Nick Meyer (all applications to [email protected])
Duties
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax, strip, burnish floors of various types (carpet, hardwood, tile);
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs and curtains;
- Clean, disinfect high touch-point areas, such as doors, handles, railings, light switches on a regular basis, using the appropriate level / prescribed cleaning product;
- Clean, polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
- Pick up debris and litter and empty garbage containers;
- Wash windows, walls, mirrors, ceilings and vents;
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in a safe and efficient manner;
- Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned and added at managements discretion;
Qualifications
- Must have valid WHMIS Certification (2015) or willing to obtain;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Must be reliable and punctual;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team;
- Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task;
- Positive attitude
Compensation
As per NSUPE Local 22 Collective Agreement.
