Taylor’s Fish & Chip Truck Attendants
Taylor Fish Company is looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Taylor’s Fish & Chip Truck. Help us provide our loyal customers with the freshest yellow perch and pickerel cooked in Southern Ontario!
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service – greet customers, assist with knowledge of food products, and take orders
- Processing cash payments
- Assembling food orders with high quality standards
- Assisting with preparation of uncooked food in a hygienic manner
- Continuous upkeep of work area and outdoor eating area to keep it a clean, safe, and accessible environment for staff and visitors
- Assist with monitoring levels of supplies on a daily basis to prevent interruption to service
- Using communication skills to work within a team, as well as to assist customers
- Helping with opening and closing activities
Availability:
Full-time attendants must be available when summer students return to school:
- May - October: Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Holiday Mondays (Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday)
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a restaurant or fast-food setting is an asset, but NOT REQUIRED – we will train motivated individuals!
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to show initiative and self-motivation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to work consistent shifts during the season, Wednesday - Sunday
- Able to work Holidays during the open season.
- Able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat
- Able to work flexible shifts during the season, including evenings, weekends and Holidays
Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Experience:
- Restaurant/Fast Food: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
