Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Field Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a solid understanding of computer hardware and networking. You will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are functioning optimally, providing exceptional service and support.
Duties
- Assisting with field surveys for construction, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Operating and maintaining surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors).
- Recording measurements and observations accurately.
- Assisting in the preparation of field notes and sketches.
- Following health and safety regulations at all job sites.
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary program in geomatics, civil engineering, surveying, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience as a survey technician.
- Good physical condition; ability to lift equipment and work outdoors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle to attend sites.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
