Job Description
JSM Law is looking to hire an experienced Personal Injury Law Clerk (With tort experience) to join their team.
The position is an in-office, full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities for the Law Clerk include, but are not limited to:
- Meet with clients
- Drafting, reviewing, amending pleadings
- Drafting of Statements of Claim, Mediation Memorandum, trial records, motion records, etc.
- Research, communication with clients, correspondence with opposing counsel
- Being familiar with the process of Examinations for Discovery
- Requesting productions and undertakings
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications for Law Clerk
- 3+ years of experience at a law firm
- Interest, expertise and demonstrated previous experience in Personal Injury Law;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a group setting;
- Strong work ethics;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
