Falcons Landscaping & Snow Removal provides snow and ice management for condominium and commercial properties in Mississauga and the surrounding GTA. We are hiring experienced snow plow operators with salt truck experience for the 2026-27 snow season. Our salt trucks are pickups with mounted salters, so a full G licence is all you need.
What you'll do
- Operate a company pickup truck with a plow and salter to plow, salt and de-ice parking lots, drive lanes and access areas at condominium and commercial sites
- Complete your assigned route according to site maps and service standards, with correct salt application and no property damage
- Load the truck with salt and refill on-site salt bins
- Monitor site conditions between events and report them to dispatch
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift truck and equipment inspections, fuel up and report any issues
- Complete required documentation and time records
- Hand shovel and de-ice small areas when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
What you need
- Full Ontario G licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Proven commercial snow plowing experience with a pickup truck, plus hands-on experience operating a salt truck (pickup-mounted salter)
- Available on call 24/7 from November to April, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to the yard at any hour
- Confident driving and backing in tight lots at night and in poor visibility
- Able to lift 50 lb salt bags and work long shifts in winter conditions
- Smartphone for dispatch communication
Pay
- $28 to $34 per hour based on experience
- Weekly standby pay, discussed at the interview
