Are you organized, compassionate, and passionate about helping seniors and families? Prairie Comfort Home Care is looking for a Part-Time Home Care Operations & Client Care Coordinator to support our growing team in Edmonton and surrounding communities.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administration, client support, caregiver coordination, and community outreach.
Hours: 10–15 hours per week to start (flexible schedule with potential for growth)
Responsibilities
- Assist with caregiver scheduling and finding shift coverage
- Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of caregivers
- Follow up on reference checks, background checks, and employee documentation
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding packages
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with client intake and assessments
- Support invoicing and Alberta Blue Cross billing
- Attend networking events and community presentations as needed
- Help build relationships with referral sources and community partners
- Provide occasional client visits or shift coverage if qualified
Qualifications
- Experience in health care, home care, administration, or client services
- Health Care Aide (HCA), LPN, nursing student, or similar experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel within Edmonton and surrounding areas
