Locum Dentist — Coquitlam, BC (Short-Term Coverage)
Burnaby Mountain Dental is seeking a locum general dentist to provide coverage while the associate is away.
Dates required:
- August 6, 8, and 17, 2026 (single-day coverage)
- October 3, 5, 8, and 9, 2026 (single-day coverage)
- November 5–23, 2026 (primary coverage period — flexibility on start/end dates available)
We're open to candidates available for all of the above or a portion of it. Additional days may be added by mutual agreement.
About the practice:
Established family practice in Coquitlam at Clarke Road and Como Lake, serving a loyal, long-standing patient base. We are independently owned and doctor-led, with an experienced clinical and administrative team who will make your days here easy. Free on-site parking. 4 operatories, Power Practice, digital radiography.
The role:
- Full-scope general dentistry: exams, hygiene checks, restorative, extractions, emergencies
- The schedule is managed to keep the locum period straightforward, complex prosthodontic and endodontic cases are scheduled around the coverage period
- Full chairside and administrative support; you focus on clinical care
Requirements:
- DDS/DMD from an accredited program, or successful completion of the NDEB equivalency process
- Current registration and good standing with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
- Current professional liability coverage
- Valid CPR certification
- Eligible to work in Canada
Pay: $800.00-$1,200.00 per day
