Job Overview
Bushwood Golf Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency.
The successful candidate will assist with daily food preparation, inventory management, grab-and-go offerings, and the execution of our casual clubhouse menu. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of casual clubhouse and pub-style menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation and setup to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Prepare grab-and-go offerings, including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other ready-to-serve items.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning across all menu items.
- Keep workstations, storage areas, and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and communicating ordering needs.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Properly label, store, and rotate food products.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Support kitchen operations during tournaments, events, and busy service periods.
- Contribute ideas for menu features, grab-and-go items, and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, golf club, café, or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Pay: $17.20-$27.51 per hour
