Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with various tools and machinery. structural components, and custom fabrications in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Perform FCAW and Mig on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with rigging tasks including crane operation for lifting heavy materials or assemblies
- Fabricate structural steel, custom parts for manufacturing projects
- Set up and operate machining equipment as needed for component fabrication or modification
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
Experience
- Proven experience in welding (FCAW and Mig) within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as cranes andforklifts
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and basic math skills for precise measurements
- Experience with rigging, assembly
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, fabrication equipment operation, and material handling is essential
This position requires a dedicated professional capable of working safely in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality work. Candidates should be comfortable reading technical documents and operating various fabrication tools.
Pay: $28.00-$39.00 per hour
