Overview
Responsible for managing all maintenance, repair, and construction-related activities for company properties. The successful candidate will independently identify issues, engage appropriate contractors, coordinate repairs, oversee project completion, and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard. This role requires an experienced professional who can take ownership of maintenance and property-related issues with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all property maintenance and repair issues.
- Receive, assess, and prioritize maintenance requests.
- Identify the appropriate contractor, vendor, or service provider for each job (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, construction, etc.).
- Contact and coordinate contractors to obtain quotes and schedule work. Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify maintenance needs. Maintain relationships with trusted contractors and service providers.
- Review contractor invoices and confirm completed work before payment. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and arrange immediate repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance requests, inspections, repairs, and service contracts.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment. Provide regular updates to ownership/management regarding ongoing projects and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in project management related to property or industrial maintenance projects.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical experience (including low voltage systems), HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and preventive maintenance planning.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience in industrial maintenance roles involving troubleshooting, repair, and system upgrades is highly desirable. This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence across our facilities through effective management of maintenance activities and contractor coordination. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise combined with strong leadership qualities to ensure our property assets are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
