This is a shared duty position between Safety Coordinator and Shop Coordinator. Duties for Safety Coordinator would be annual COR audit, employee orientations/exits, commercial site inspections, reporting injuries to WCB, continued development of safety program, coordinating safety training for technicians, maintaining safety records.
Shop Coordinator duties would include receiving/stocking deliveries, maintaining shop cleanliness, yard maintenance, pick up and site deliveries (company vehicle used for this).
Must be a Certified Occupational Health and Safety Officer
Other helpful courses would include: Leadership for Safety Excellence, Safety Auditor, Train the Trainer, Principles for Safety Management

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
