Surgical Sterilization Assistant (Full-time or Part-time)

Your mission as a Surgical Assistant
The mission of the Surgical Technician is to ensure that the OR instruments are sterilized and ready for surgeons. Tasks must be done with efficiency, complete accuracy, and with the utmost quality.

Permanent full-time OR part-time position, must be available for evenings, days, and weekends
Salary between $15.78 and $18.94 per hour (depending on experience)

Dynamic and stimulating team, and comprehensive in-house training

Thoroughly prep the OR for surgery-sterilize instruments, set up tools needed, etc.
Complete reports and verify inventory on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Any other tasks as per required by the Center Director or management team
Must work efficiently and execute tasks quickly, while managing personal stress and always keeping calm
Must have an eye for detail and good judgment skills, and always be alert
Must be organized and able to prioritize
Must be able to work autonomously and also collaboratively
Comfortable standing for several hours at a time
Interest in health services field and comfortable with medical procedures and close contact with others
Experience working in customer service and/or client care
Experience working in fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is essential
Any relevant medical or clinical experience would be an asset!
This is a permanent position, with benefits after 3 months, and is offered part-time (20 to 32 hours per week) OR full-time (33 to 40 hours per week). Candidates must be available during days, evenings, and weekends). A competitive compensation is offered and includes fringe benefits. The selected candidate may also be cross trained in other clinical positions. A full training is given to all new hires.
