Responsibilities
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure accurate delivery times
- Notify Dispatch immediately of any delays or schedule changes
- Use navigation tools and area knowledge to deliver on time
- Maintain professional interactions with customers
- Complete all required paperwork
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
- Monitor safety and service requirements for tractor and trailers
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained
- Drive safely and follow company speed policies
- Report incidents or accidents immediately
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean CVOR and Driver Abstract (issued within last 90 days)
Assets
- FAST Card
- Local drivers preferred
- Flexible schedule required
- Team drivers accepted and preferred
Pay
- Solo drivers: $0.55 per mile
- Team drivers: $0.70 per mile, must bring your own team partner for hiring
- Extras and additionals paid
- Majority of work is open board, please do not expect dedicated schedule, weekend work may be required
