Our client is a leading manufacturing company seeking a General Labourer to join their growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to do repetitive lifting/bending/stretching in a hot/humid/dusty environment.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment.
- Following all company policies as described in the employee handbook.
- Knowledge and skill in reading specific work instructions for a made-to-order product.
- The ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Operates propane forklift (training will be provided)
- Knowledge of standard measuring equipment (tape measures etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Laser-focussed on delivering for the customer.
- Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Able to work outside
- Able to operate forklift
