We are currently seeking an experienced and polished Bellman who understands the standards and discretion expected in a 5-star service environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch and ongoing success of one of Vancouver Island’s most distinctive hospitality offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every arrival and departure is seamless and memorable
- Assist guests with luggage and escort them to their rooms
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Coordinate transportation, valet, or special guest requests efficiently.
- Support front desk staff with guest services as needed
- Maintain the lobby and entrance areas in pristine condition
- Uphold the highest standards of guest confidentiality, security, and service
- Valet/Parking Services
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of 5-star service protocols and guest expectations
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Professional presentation, grooming, and demeanor
- Physically able to lift and transport luggage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
- Must be able to drive a standard/stick-shift car
