As a Senior Product Manager, you are responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmaps, and feature definitions for a product or product line. This role involves working closely with business, engineering, and support teams to ensure the product development objectives are met. Senior Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:
Market & Customer Understanding:

Collaborate with business to conduct customer interviews and research to understand business needs and incorporate this feedback into product development.

Analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on business demands.
Product Strategy & Vision:
-
Define the product strategy and roadmap, including setting product goals and prioritizing initiatives.

Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market, and competition to guide product development and strategy.
Feature Definition & Prioritization:

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools, tracking and reviewing the product direction and current work frequently.
Cross-functional Leadership:

Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.

Collaborate with business customers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Product Launch & Support:

Plan and carry out product launches in coordination with the business.

Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding within and outside the company.

Gather customer feedback to inform continuous product improvement.
Performance Measurement:

Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.
Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Senior Product Manager or similar role in product management.

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. An MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
