We are a licensed infant and toddler childcare centre located in Burnaby Heights, supporting children under 36 months in a small, relationship-based environment. Our program is rooted in play-based learning and responsive caregiving, and we are looking for an Early Childhood Educator who shares this approach.
You will join a close-knit team of 1–2 other educators working with a group of up to 8 children, focusing on consistent care, emotional security, and meaningful daily interactions.
Full-time position: 7.5 hours per day between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: Week of Oct 12, 2026 (flexible)
Compensation & Benefits
Starting at $29/hrs including ECE Wage Enhancement (with an I/T license)

What you’ll do
- Build warm, consistent relationships with infants and toddlers
- Plan and engage in play-based learning experiences that follow children’s interests
- Support children’s emotional regulation, development, and daily routines
- Communicate openly with families and collaborate with your team
- Follow BC childcare licensing requirements and centre policies
What we’re looking for
- Valid BC Infant/Toddler ECE certificate (ECE applicants may be considered)
- Minimum 1 year experience in an infant/toddler program in BC
- Current First Aid certification
- Clear criminal record check
- Calm, patient, and collaborative approach
- Genuine enjoyment of working with young children
