Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle issues to ensure safety and optimal performance. This position offers an engaging work environment where technical skills and customer service excellence are valued. Preferred minimum 3 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of heavy machinery or equipment
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify issues and solutions
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
- Assist in the assembly or replacement of vehicle parts as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic setting
- Valid G licience required
