Farmers’ Market Sales & Operations Associate
Love food, people, and the energy of a farmers’ market? We’re looking for a friendly, energetic person to represent our brand at farmers’ markets across Toronto.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You’ll help get the market set up, welcome customers, sell our food, keep things running smoothly, and pack everything up at the end of the day.
What You’ll Do
- Pick up and load food, beverages, equipment and supplies at our kitchen.
- Drive our company van safely to the market.
- Set up an attractive, welcoming market booth, including tent, tables, signage and displays.
- Greet customers, answer questions and share the stories behind our food.
- Make suggestions and upsell naturally—think “Would you like a lemonade with that?”
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Keep the booth clean, organized and inviting throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory and make sure food is handled and stored properly.
- Pack up at the end of the market and return everything to the kitchen.
- Help clean, sanitize and restock equipment and supplies for the next market.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Enjoys talking to people and making customers feel welcome.
- Is energetic, reliable and comfortable working independently.
- Has a natural sales instinct and enjoys meeting sales goals.
- Is organized and pays attention to details.
- Is comfortable with physical work, including lifting tents, tables and coolers.
- Can drive a van safely and responsibly.
- Communicates well and works respectfully with a small team.
- Has food service, retail or farmers’ market experience (an asset, but not essential).
The Important Stuff
This is an active job—you’ll be on your feet, lifting, setting up, selling and moving throughout the day. Market days can be busy, so we’re looking for someone who stays positive and composed when things get hectic.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
