Lakeside Smiles Dentistry is a new modern dental clinic opening in Downtown Barrie near the waterfront. We are building a calm, polished, patient-centered team from the ground up and are looking for a warm, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to help create an exceptional experience from the very first phone call.

The front desk is not “just reception” at Lakeside Smiles. This role is central to patient trust, schedule flow, communication, insurance coordination, and the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Answer phone calls with a calm and polished tone
- Schedule new and existing patients appropriately
- Manage appointment confirmations and patient communication
- Support check-in and checkout
- Collect and update patient information
- Assist with insurance estimates, CDCP billing, and patient portions
- Collect payments and explain estimates clearly
- Support recall, reactivation, and treatment follow-up
- Maintain accurate notes in dental software
- Keep the front desk area clean, calm, and organized
- Communicate clearly with the dentist, hygienists, and assistants
- Help create a positive, organized, and patient-centered clinic culture

Qualifications
- Dental receptionist or dental administration experience preferred
- Experience with ABELDent, Dentally, Tracker, ClearDent, Dentrix, or other dental software is an asset
- CDCP billing familiarity is an asset
- Strong customer service or healthcare administration experience may be considered
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer and organizational skills

Schedule
- Full-time
- Daytime shifts
- Some evening or weekend availability may be required as the clinic grows
