PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position is responsible for the coordination of targeted sales and services along with the overseeing and managing of our 4R certification within the branch. The incumbent must have a good working knowledge of the products and services available for sale including the pricing, methods of usage, and availability. They will work jointly with the sales team and operations to implement the sales and services through superior customer service.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To accept orders for products and services and initiate any actions required to effect delivery
Facilitates the agronomic benefits and promotion of products and services that are core to FS PARTNERS business plan
Coordinates and initiates field plots, demonstration plots ("On Farm Discovery"), educational customer meetings and public relations events, working with the customer and the Crop Specialist to ensure the goal of promoting products and services is achieved
Partners with suppliers on product offerings and marketing programs
Aids the sales team in increasing market share in the territory by use of precision farming, target marketing and professional sales techniques
Maintain current knowledge of the market, competitor pricing and competitive factors influencing the trading area.
Plans, develops and implements 4R Ag strategies to support the growth of precision services.
Develops and maintains 4R certification

Education and Experience
Normally requires a minimum of Grade 12 education, completion of college or other courses in business administration, plus prior working experience, knowledge of modern computer software and general office procedures.
Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact in an articulate and professional manner with staff and customers.
Proven ability to utilize organizational and multi-tasking skills to ensure maximum productivity and manage time effectively.
Proven ability to work independently, in a team-oriented environment, and achieve results through others.
Proficiency in the use of office equipment including faxes, computers, photocopiers etc., as well as other office procedures.
Recommends improvements in service, or invoicing methods and procedures in order to ensure processes are efficient and up to date.
Proven computer skills including complex spreadsheets through Excel, database management skills, and various software applications, and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Demonstrates GROWMARK core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
May be required to work extended hours, particularly during peak seasons.
Must be able to be trained in GROWMARK’s Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures, including Accident Reporting, Emergency Response Plan, Fire Safety, General Safety Rules, Health & Safety Rights, Health & Safety Roles and Responsibilities, Safe Manual Lifting, Slips Trips and Falls, and WHMIS
