The Opportunity
CRL Group is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Lead to take ownership of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties across the Okanagan.
You will lead a small crew, organize the day-to-day work on site, and be the person making sure properties leave looking the way they should. Some days that means managing seasonal cleanups and garden maintenance. Other days it means solving irrigation issues, adjusting priorities, or making sure the crew has what they need before the next stop.
This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role within a growing division and help influence how we deliver landscape maintenance services across the region.
We are looking for someone who can lead from the front. Someone who notices the details, communicates well with both clients and crew members, and can be trusted to keep things organized without someone looking over their shoulder.
What You'll Be Doing
Working with our landscape division, you will:
- Lead a maintenance crew on residential and commercial properties throughout the Okanagan.
- Organize daily work plans and ensure sites are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Perform and oversee lawn care, garden maintenance, pruning, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanups, and general property upkeep.
- Identify irrigation issues, plant health concerns, and maintenance needs before they become larger problems.
- Train, support, and provide direction to crew members on site.
- Ensure company standards for quality, safety, and professionalism are maintained.
- Operate trucks, trailers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape equipment safely and responsibly.
- Communicate professionally with clients and represent CRL positively on site.
- Work closely with management to support scheduling, property needs, and ongoing improvements within the maintenance division.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, groundskeeping, or a related field.
- Leadership, supervisory, or crew lead experience.
- Strong understanding of lawn care, garden maintenance, pruning, and general landscape upkeep.
- Ability to motivate a crew and lead by example.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating landscape equipment, trucks, and trailers.
- Ability to identify maintenance issues and take initiative to address them.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical work throughout the day.
