Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, operating heavy equipment, and contributing to the successful completion of building and infrastructure tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior construction experience and a strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and layout of construction sites, including setting up tools and materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or bulldozers safely and effectively
- Perform paving tasks, including laying asphalt or concrete as needed for projects
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Support team members in lifting, carrying, and positioning materials or equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Assist with demolition, excavation, or other site-specific activities as required
Experience
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, or paving equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
