One of our client is looking for a Python Steel CNC Operator to operate and maintain Python CNC equipment used in structural steel processing. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery and be able to interpret fabrication drawings while ensuring accurate production.
Responsibilities
- Operate Python CNC steel processing machines safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and position steel materials.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and production schedules.
- Set up machine programs and monitor production.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy of cuts, holes, and layouts.
- Complete routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Maintain production records and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating Python CNC or similar structural steel processing equipment.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
