Job Description
Old Mill Feeds is looking for a full-time Class 1 Tandem Axle Feed Truck Driver / Delivery Driver to join our team.
The primary role will be operating our tandem axle feed truck for on-farm feed deliveries throughout Southern Manitoba, along with dry van delivery work as required.
This position is approximately 30-45 hours per week, depending on workload and season. Drivers are generally home every night.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate a tandem axle feed truck safely and professionally.
- Deliver feed to farms throughout Southern Manitoba.
- Operate feed delivery equipment and auger systems.
- Complete dry van deliveries as required.
- Safely load, unload, and handle feed and other products.
- Perform some warehouse duties while waiting for loads, including forklift operation and general material handling.
- Load and unload 25 kg bags and other feed products.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Wash, sweep, and maintain the truck as required.
- Complete basic pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues, and Operate E Log System.
- Follow safe work practices and company procedures.
- Work as part of a team to keep the mill, deliveries, and customers running smoothly.

- Comfortable doing both driving and hands-on work.
- Able to keep equipment clean and take pride in looking after company property.
Mechanical skills are a strong asset. Previous experience with feed trucks, agricultural equipment, grain hauling, off-highway driving, forklifts, or farm work is also an asset.
Training
Experience with feed delivery equipment is preferred, but the right candidate will be provided with paid training and must demonstrate that they can safely perform the job.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on position in a busy feed mill and agricultural environment. The successful applicant should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license appropriate for the equipment being operated.
- Safe driving record.
- 2-4 years truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass required background reference checks.
- Physically capable of lifting 25 kg bags and performing manual work.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Elie, Manitoba area.
- Willingness to work long hours during busy periods.
