Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time Veterinary Assistant /Receptionistto join our dynamic, growing team! The ideal candidate should be confident and friendly, have great communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Some experience working with animals in a clinical setting is an asset.
Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital is one of the biggest animal hospitals in Orillia. We are proud to offer affordable wellness and preventative care as well as critical care during our business hours. Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital has 4 exam rooms, a fully equipped surgical suite, dental suite and full body and dental x-rays.
Responsibilities will include communicating with clients in person as well as over the phone, record keeping on the clinic software, basic husbandry and handeling of patients, assisting with surgical procedures, cleaning within the clinic and assisting the veterinary technicians and veterinarian with procedures and appointments.
