Job Summary
Grey Bruce Contracting is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Painter to join our renovation and construction team. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean prep work, sharp finish quality, and keeping job sites organized. This role includes interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, drywall touch-ups, masking, priming, rolling, brushing, spraying when needed, and general site cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, siding, and other surfaces for paint.
- Patch small drywall imperfections, sand surfaces, caulk gaps, and complete basic touch-ups.
- Mask and protect floors, fixtures, windows, furniture, cabinets, and finished surfaces.
- Apply primer, paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment when appropriate.
- Maintain clean lines, consistent coverage, and professional finish quality.
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow job site safety procedures and use PPE properly.
- Communicate clearly with the crew lead about materials, progress, and any site issues.
- Assist with general renovation tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Painting experience preferred, but we will consider someone reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to sand, patch, mask, roll, brush, and clean up properly.
- Comfortable using hand tools, ladders, and basic job site equipment.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well with a crew.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must be able to lift materials, work on your feet, and handle physical job site work.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
