We're looking for an experienced Red Seal Certified Carpenter to join our growing team as a Lead Carpenter/Crew Lead.
This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who takes pride in their work, can lead by example, and has the skills to complete projects from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Certified Carpenter
- Proven experience leading a crew and managing projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions on site
- Must be able to read and interpret house plans and blueprints
- Must be capable of completing a project from start to finish, including:
- Concrete footings to trim work
- Framing
- Window and door installation
- Deck construction
- Garage packages
- Various types of siding
- General residential carpentry
- Willingness to learn and work with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF). Previous ICF experience is an asset but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew on residential construction projects
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Coordinate daily work and maintain productivity on site
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
