Summary
We are actively seeking a full-time Class A Automotive Mechanic/Maintenance Worker. This role is responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and upkeep of farm machinery, tractors, automotive vehicles, equipment, greenhouse systems, and farm facilities. The position combines hands-on mechanical expertise, welding and fabrication skills, and general maintenance duties to support greenhouse, orchard, and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
Maintenance & Mechanical Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of farm machinery, tractors, automotive vehicles, and equipment, including gasoline, propane, and diesel-powered units
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
- Inspect vehicles, tractors, farm machinery, and equipment, including tires, brakes, lights, hydraulics, and related systems
- Ensure annual safety inspections on vehicles are completed and up to date
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable safety, maintenance, and regulatory requirements; maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, tractors, utility vehicles, and related machinery
- Perform fabrication, welding, and structural repairs as required
- Service, maintain, and assist with general repairs to greenhouse systems and facilities
- Ensure equipment is safe to operate and properly stored; maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to the needs of staff and other internal customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Farm & Operational Support:
- Operate and support maintenance of farm equipment such as tractors, tow motors, sweepers, and related machinery
- Support seasonal production activities in greenhouse, orchard, vineyard, and field operations during peak periods as required.
Health & Safety:
- Follow all company safety procedures and OHSA regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Report hazards and ensure safe equipment operation
Education & Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Class A Automotive Service Technician license (310S) or equivalent automotive mechanic certification – required
- Experience independently diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicles.
- Must have strong welding and fabrication skills and be comfortable supporting general greenhouse maintenance as required
- Experience maintaining and repairing farm machinery, tractors, and agricultural equipment is an asset
- Valid AZ driver’s license considered an asset

The role also requires the ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $28.00-$40.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience
